Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Kalon's phone assistants run on services from other companies, and each has rules that our clients and their staff must follow too. This page sums them up.
You may not use Kalon to
- Break the law, including laws about calls, texts, recordings, privacy, and consumer protection.
- Make the assistant claim to be a person, or deceive callers about who they are talking to.
- Make robocalls, send texts without consent, or contact people who have asked you to stop.
- Give medical, legal, or financial advice through the assistant, or promise results you can't back up.
- Collect card numbers, government ID numbers, or health details the service isn't set up to protect.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone.
- Try to break, overload, or get around the limits of the service.
Your callers
Each business is responsible for telling its own callers whatever the law requires where it operates, for example that calls may be recorded.
Our providers' rules
Using Kalon also means following the rules of the providers behind it, including Twilio's Acceptable Use Policy, Anthropic's Usage Policy, and OpenAI's Usage Policies.
If something goes wrong
We may pause an assistant that is being misused, and we'll tell you why. To report misuse, email poweredbykalon@gmail.com.
